Russia's Massive Attack on Ukraine’s Energy Grid

On November 17, 2024, Russia launched one of its most devastating aerial assaults on Ukraine's energy infrastructure since the early days of the war, significantly impacting the nation’s power supply and resulting in casualties. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that the attack involved around 120 missiles and 90 drones, making it one of the largest combined airstrikes in recent months.
